JOB DESCRIPTION:
Customer Service (Counter)
The job duties include but are not limited to the following:

Position duties include computer invoicing of cash sales, writing delivery tickets for charge customers, processing customer and branch phone-in orders, providing pricing information to customers over the phone, backordering material, transferring stock between branch locations and other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager or his or her designee.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidates must have proven customer service skills, and presentation, both in person and over the telephone.
  • Must be able to clearly communicate with others
  • good penmanship is also a plus.
  • Attention to detail and accurate work history with numbers and computer coding is essential.
  • Ability to use manufacturer parts breakdown and price list
  • knowledge of ten key calculator
  • knowledge of percentages are an absolute must.
  • Working under a heavy workload and under pressure while maintaining a sense of humor is a "Big" plus.
  • Irrigation and landscape experience a "Bigger" plus !
